Still no baby. Today is my due date and I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. Fingers crossed!
Paul had a new MRI done. He got the results today. Not good. The disc they did surgery on is herniated again and there are more discs herniated. He needs to get another steroid epidural injection and another myelogram, which means another surgery. He's putting all of this on hold until he sees his doctor on April 14th, with the baby coming and all.

The predictions were wrong
STILL no labor! Now it's Friday and I am sick of waiting and not knowing. Plus I don't think I can get any bigger. I am HUGE! The maternity clothes don't even go over my belly anymore!
Not cool. haha

Nothing yet
Well, my predictions were wrong. I did't go into labor over the weekend. Here we are Wednesday and still nothing. 6 days to go until my due date (March 30th). I have gotten a lot of predictions for Thursday (tomorrow). I just hope it doesn't happen while I am at work. I am pretty much done working, but I am still coming in so I don't have to use any sick time or vacation days.
I FINALLY heard from MIL. That only took a week. I just don't get her. "Call your Mom and Dad, then please call us... ", um DUH!

I don't get it
Why is it that my MIL wants to be kept "in the loop" but when I send her email updates I don't get a reply? I sent an email yesterday to her work, I know she checks it often and she works every day. Is she playing games? Or does she really not care?
Watched an hour of the birthing DVD, we didn't realize it was 4 hours long! We will be watching more tonight. Last night was preliminary and real signs of labor, some helpful information. I thought I lost part of my mucus plug yesterday, but what I learned from the DVD, that wasn't it.
I still think I will go into labor before the weekend is over. I told Paul that and he started making a list of things he needs to get done today. hee hee

Almost time
Well, it's almost time for me to have this kid. I was at the doctor yesterday and my due date was officially moved up to March 30th (from April 5th). I am dilated to 1cm and effaced 75%. The process has started but that's not indication of when I will go into labor. If I don't go into labor on my own before March 30th, they will schedule to induce labor. For the first time I am scared and anxious. It's happening... and soon. I think we are ready. At least we are ready at home, mentally, eek, is anyone ever really ready for this? Tonight we NEED to watch the birthing DVD, I think we have both been avoiding it. Maybe go out to dinner one night this weekend if we can.
Update on Paul's Back: Unfortunately, there have been no changes. It's been 2 months and he has not made any progress towards recovery. The positive in this, he'll be off work and get paid for when I have the baby. If he was released back to work he wouldn't get paid for that time off. The doctor put him on a new nerve medication, Lyrica. He was on Neurontin, both are for nerve pain. He didn't like the neurontin, it made him forgetful and he just couldn't think straight. Hopefully the Lyrica doesn't do that to him, he needs to be able to think straight when I go into labor.
